Around the Three Kings, Allégorie proposes a delicious «Galette des Rois» of 6 or 8 portions, prepared by its pastry chef, at the price of 29 euros for 6, and 39 euros for 8. Both are to be picked up at the restaurant.
This sweet, that the French love to eat in the Epiphany period, is made from puff pastry filled with a mixture of almonds, sugar, butter and egg yolk, called «frangipane».
Like the roscón, the Galette has a gift, to designate the king or queen. Traditionally, it comes from the north of France, while in the south they eat roscón or similar sweets. However, in recent years, given its enormous culinary success, most southern French people adopt the Galette as their main cake for the Three Kings.
The Three Kings Galette can be ordered via our online sales system, from December 26, 2024, to Saturday, January 18, 2025. It will also be possible to book it through contacto@restauranteallegorie.com or by calling 91 253 92 61 during the restaurant’s opening hours.
