Clos du Clocher belongs to the Pomerol appellation, small in size but producing some of the best wines in the Bordeaux region, being Clos du Clocher one of them.
On June 26, its owner and winemaker, Jean-Baptiste Bourotte, will travel to Madrid to present his productions at Allégorie, as part of the winery’s centenary, in collaboration with his importer, FAP Grand Cru.
It will be a very interesting vertical tasting of the same red wine from various vintages: 2020, very fruity, 2016, 2010, and 2005. The monovarietal Sémillon Sauternes that is usually offered in Allégorie, Cuvée 79, but in Magnum version from 2017 will be the dessert wine.
To accompany these great wines, Allégorie will serve the following menu:
