On its first anniversary, Allégorie has received a precious gift: its entry in the Michelin guide. This recognition has made us very happy, because – as it is always said on these occasions, but it is true – it is the reward for a lot of work, and many sacrifices.
The guide says: Do you fancy a restaurant that exalts the gastronomy of Gallic roots? In the heart of Chamberí you have one where you can discover its virtues; not in vain Romain Lascarides, the young French chef in charge, defends that “to eat is to nourish at the same time the spirit, the thought and the faculty of judging”. With total respect for both the seasonality of the raw materials and the work of the producers here, the proposal evolves with the season. They offer elaborate portions at the bar at the entrance and, in the dining room upstairs, both a la carte service and menus.
